The Hadejia Emirate Zakat (alms)Committee has collected and distributed zakat worth more than ₦1.072 billion. This is according to a report presented to the Emir of Hadejia Alhaji Adamu Abubakar. The secretary of the Zakat committee, Alhaji Ismaila Barde, told newsmen after presenting the report to the emir , that zakat was distributed to 185,000 needy and deserving families in the area in the 2024 to 2025 season (1446 AH).
