Gov. Umaru Al-Makura of Nasarawa State says he will lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) to victory in the February 2019 general elections.
Speaking at the inauguration a campaign team on Saturday in Lafia, Al-Makura, promise to work hard to deliver the state to the APC presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Audi Sule the governorship candidate.
He urged all members of the party to work together to actualise victory for the APC.
“Whatever decision we would take towards ensuring our success in 2019 will have the inputs of all the aspirants and other stakeholders.
“We will carry everybody along and give everyone a sense of belonging in order to win Presidential and other elections in the state,” Al-Makura added.
He added that the committee would also be inaugurated at ward and Local Government levels.
He also said that the team would also embark on house-to-house campaign to ensure the victory of President given his achievements in all spears.
Also speaking, Philip Shakwo, APC chairman in the state, expressed gratitude to all the party faithfuls and assured them of the total cooperation to ensure success in all elections.
Responding, on behalf the governorship candidate of the party, John Danboyi, expressed gratitude to the party for the confidence reposed on him and promised not to disappoint them if elected.
